Funding: Explained
15/30 funded hours are clearly shown as £0.00 on each invoice. The only additional charges you may pay are hours outside of funded hours.
Consumables: At Clarendon Cubs Nursery, we believe all children should have the same experineces so we cover the cost of the additional classes, suncream and trips out within our setting. The only consumables charge that we have is for the food that is consumed within our nursery. The charge is £10 per 11 hour funded week or £20 per 22 hour funded week. There is an OPT IN/OUT form for this non mandatory consumable charge. If you decide to opt out, nothing changes, your little one still gets the same experience as all other children as we are unable to store packed lunches and have very strict allergy policy.
In order for us to ensure all children are eating the best nutritional meals, we only allow food to be consumed on site that is from our supplier nursery kitchen.

Children over 9 months
Eligible working families with children over the age of 9 months on or before the 31st of August 2025 can access 30 hours of government funded childcare from September 2025.
Families are advised to apply for their funding code between the 15th June and 31st of July to avoid disappointment.
You can reserve a place with us in the meantime.
We spread out our funding across 52 weeks of the year which accumulates to 22 funded hours per week. You will only be charged for additional hours that you attend our setting at an hourly rate of £8.

Reserving a space with us
Reserving a space with us couldn't be easier.
We will show you around the whole nursery, you can meet the team and ask all the questions you may have.
We then require a deposit and a completed registration form with your requirements. (comes off of first month's fees)
You will then be invited to our parent app - Blossom. The space is then yours and secure.
If you require funding, you will need to access your code from the government and fill in funding paperwork that will be sent to you via funding loop.
We are unable to offer a show around if the required days aren't available.

Tax Free Childcare
There is a childcare eligibility calculator on childcare choices website.
If eligible you will receive an 11 digit code, which must be given to us, along with your national insurance number and date of birth.
Then you will start paying money into your childcare account, the government will add your top up automatically, you can use this money when it shows as available. You will then need to pay us (your childcare provider)
For every £8 you pay in, the government will automatically add £2.

Funding at Clarendon Cubs
If your application is successful via the government application, you will receive a code that you can give to us, along with your national insurance number and child's date of birth. You will then receive an email from funding loop to complete your online documents. You will only then need to update your circumstances once every 3 months to keep your code up to date.
We can offer this funding for 52 weeks of the year so all hours will be shared over those weeks.
